washington-rock-viewWhat’s BEYOND the flagpole? A nice view of the valley from the Watchung Mountains. George Washington used this vantage point during the American Revolution and it’s now called Washington Rock. On a clear day, you can see New York City (off to the left), which is 30+ miles away.
